Lambton RC club

Lambton Rowing Club is a newly established, volunteer run rowing club located in the stunning grounds of the Lambton Estate on the River Wear. Established in 2022 LRC is a friendly, welcoming club with a thriving membership and experienced coaching team. The club’s ethos is to encourage participation in rowing for people of all ages and abilities and to do so in an enjoyable, friendly and supportive environment. All too often rowing is viewed as being an expensive or elitist sport, but we want to encourage people from the local community, from all walks of life, to get into a boat and experience the same love and passion for the sport that we have. Recreational rowers are welcomed and, for those athletes who aspire to excel in the sport, LRC has the necessary expertise within the coaching team to allow them to do so. Collaboration and co-operation with other rowing clubs and organisations is also a key priority to our club, to allow our members to get the best opportunities that they can and to promote the sport of rowing and the countless benefits it brings to those who participate.
